TEE MULATE'S www.mulates.com
After suffering major damage during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Mulate's The Original Cajun Restaurant is reopening on Wednesday, January 11th as Tee Mulate's, a smaller version of the long-time favorite.
Tee Mulate's, formerly used only for private parties is located at 743 Convention Center Boulevard, in the same building as Mulate's. The dark wood chairs and the red-checkered table cloths give each customer a warm feeling with a sense of being home. The butter colored walls are decorated with the works of various Louisiana artists such as George Rodrigue, Earl Hebert, Greg Guirard, and Francis Pavy.
