Cajuns, Blue Dogs and Hurricanes

The George Rodrigue retrospective exhibition -- Cajuns, Blue Dogs and Hurricanes -- opened at the Pensacola Museum of Art on April 2. If you are anywhere in the vicinity, this is a must-see event. The art is stunning, and it truly is amazing to see the artist's progression from early Cajun works to current Blue Dogs and Hurricanes. The first-ever three-dimensional Blue Dog sculpture takes center stage, with eyes gazing out in a 360 degree radius.

To commemorate the event, Rodrigue designed the silkscreen Fun in the Sun, which is available through the Pensacola Museum of Art.
